The Scientific committee of 7th Congress of Pharmacy in North Macedonia with international participation decided that submitted scientific works should be in form of short communications (papers) as they will be published in a special issue of Macedonian Pharmaceutical Bulletin, vol. 66 (Suppl 1), 2020.

As your short paper will be distributed to all delegates of the 7th Congress of Pharmacy in North Macedonia with international participation and published in special issue of Macedonian Pharmaceutical Bulletin, vol. 66 (Suppl 1), 2020, we want to make sure that all papers are consistent and have a high-quality appearance.

All submitted short papers will undergo a peer-review by the members of the International Scientific Board and will be published upon their acceptance.

We therefore ask you to follow some simple guidelines listed in Instructions for authors section and the TEMPLATE submission document (you can download it from Short paper submission section).

Please read carefully the instructions given in the TEMPLATE submission document (you can download it from the Short papers submission section). With the text already typed in, you can see the given structure of the text, how it is supposed to be. After you have read the instructions, delete it and start filling in your words.

For submission of your short-papers, use only the TEMPLATE document fulfilled with your manuscript text and upload it as a Word document.

– Short papers should be written in English.
– During the submission, please refer to the type of your presentation (poster or oral) and indicate the section which is most appropriate to your field of research.
– Please fill all required fields in the on-line submission form.
– Tables and figures are not acceptable.
– The presenting author is expected to attend the Congress and present the poster or oral presentation.
– The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission.
– All papers must be submitted in clear English with accurate grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication.

Deadline for short paper submission and early registration: March 30th, 2020.

All accepted short papers will be published in a special issue of the Macedonian Pharmaceutical Bulletin, vol. 66 (Suppl 1), 2020.

Short paper submission is not dependent upon payment of registration fee.

Short papers of the best selected papers and winners of the Young Scientist Grant will be invited to extend them for publication in regular issue of Macedonian Pharmaceutical Bulletin, indexed by DOAJ and EBSCO.

Oral presentations
The time limit for oral contributions will be exactly 20 minutes including 5 minutes discussion. The time for oral presentations in the Student session is 10 minutes. Presentations will be made with a LCD projector.

Posters
Posters will be presented during special sessions. The panels for the poster presentation are of the
following size: height 70 cm, width 100 cm, landscape format.

For successful short paper submission, the following steps should be completed:

  1. Create a profile in the database of submitted manuscripts: CREATE A PROFILE.
  2. Download the TEMPLATE SUBMISSION DOCUMENT where your manuscript text should be written in.
  3. After you login on your profile, click the NEW SHORT PAPER button and complete the further instructions given there.

For submission of your short-papers, use only the prepared TEMPLATE document, fulfilled with your manuscript text, and upload it as a Word document.

Short paper submission is not dependent upon payment of registration fee.

Those who are not attending the event physically but willing to publish their research work in the Congress proceedings can register under this category. E-Posters will be on display throughout the Congress poster sessions on multi-media screens situated in the poster area. First of all, authors should submit their short paper by March 15th, 2020. During the short paper submission process, please select the option Poster type of presentation. Short papers will be published in a special issue of the Macedonian Pharmaceutical Bulletin, vol. 66 (Suppl 1), 2020.

E-Posters should be in form of a Power point slide, A4 landscape format (4:3) and be sent on msimonoska@ff.ukim.edu.mk, by April 15th, 2020 at the latest.

Publication of short papers and presentation of E-Posters is dependent upon payment of registration fee. Your E-Poster won’t be presented at the Congress if you don’t pay the registration fee for E-posters until March 15th, 2020.

Young researchers under the age of 35 are eligible to apply for the Young Scientist Grant. Please select the appropriate box during registration. The granted young scientists will be released from registration fee. Young Scientist Awardees will be requested to prepare an oral presentation in the appropriate session and will be invited to extend the short papers for publication in regular issue of Macedonian Pharmaceutical Bulletin, indexed by DOAJ and EBSCO.
